Downtime required for 0EC_PCA_3

Hi,

I wanted to know basically if any R/3 downtime is required while loading PCA cube using 0EC_PCA_3 DataSource.

Hi Karan,

We have done an EC_PCA_3 init without a downtime as we were able to ascertain a small time window where no documents were getting posted to GLPCA.

We did a full update for the last two months data and then immediately an init without data transfer. That seemed to do the trick.

Hi Karan,

I think that no downtime is requested cause an appropriate security interval is observed since documents may possibly be posted with the previous days date for a while if the process was started on the day before and posting them takes a long time !
