This is a follow-up from this FAQ:
Does the CommonCryptoLib as used with 17.0.10 make use of the operating system certificate store by default?
I'm asking since with 17.0.10.5923 I do get a successful connection to a self-signed HTTPS web server even if I do not specify any CERTIFICATE clause in the web function definition at all. I have the impression this works as if I had added "CERTIFICATE FILE=*", which would tell the database engine to access the OS cert store...
