Does the MDM system support in storing documentation describing the data model and data stored in the System
Hi,
MDM system will not support in storing documentation describing the data model. You can view the data model in the console / export the Repository schema file.
For data stored in the system --> If you are using Change tracking in MDM for the specific fields, you can monitor it.
Hope this may help you.
Thanks & Regards,
Srinivas

Hi,
In addition to Srini's answer
yes you can monitor it through Repositories schema. and as far as change tracking table is concern
Change Tracking records consist of a predefined set of fields and are not Directly visible in the MDM Console or MDM Client. Each record store Change information for a particular field that is being tracked.
The Change Tracker is an application which provides a convenient UI for displaying and viewing changes as stored in the MDM Change History database. The Change Tracker application connects to the database via a JDBC connection. The level of change tracking, and which tables/fields to track, is Console. MDM opens a new database on the same database engine as the MDM repository and configurable in the MDM writes all change records to this database.
Hope it helps .
