I have copied a Role to another role and have done the changes to the copied rules like adding changing the users. Now When I am executing the query it is saying that " Error do not have authorisation on infocube"..
SU53 won't help in case of Front end. Goto the user authorization using PFCG or SU01 or SUIM and then check the roles he has for that particular application/area and under one of the authorization objects, you'll get a option for Infocube. Expand that and find the names of the cubes listed in there. Probably the cube on which the user is trying ti run the report is not in there. Add that and the user should be able to run the report.
I do not have authorisation for t.code SU01 and SUIM.
In PFCG I did see the cube I am reporting on.
and also the settings as mentioned in PFCG is having an impact in bex like data Targets available for reporting. It looks like some thing is missing by which this problem is coming.
Though all the below parameters is mentioned and maintained in PFCG still I am getting a message saying
" You need authorisation for authorization object Administrator workbench - infocube with infoarea'<name>', Infocube '<name>', infocube-subobject'DATA' and activity '23'".
Please let me know if you have any suggestions on this...
Check the roles in PFCG. Maybe even if have authorization for the infoarea and infocube, check the activity that you are authorized to perform. Maybe you don't have the correct activity set in the authorization. Once done, do a user compare in PFCG, so that it syncs up the profile.
The have changed the activity type and it is working.
I have another question the role from which I have copied doesn't have authorisation object S_RS_ICUBE(Administration work bench infocube). But still it is working fine. I am trying to understand why the profile have started working after inserting the S_RS_ICUBE into my new created profile...
