When you execute a program the data introduced by the user is converted to Caps. I need it with the format.

A b c d. E f g h.

Or in the same format the user wrote it.

I have read about TRANSALTE but it doesn't work for me.

Thanx in advance

Is is a parameter in selection screen?

If so, then you need to extent the statement with LOWER CASE.

report zrich_0001.

parameters: p_text(50) Type c lower case.
write:/ p_text.

This will keep the case-sensitivity.

If you are not talking about a parameter on a selection, but a field in a dynpro, there is a simular checkbox that you can check in screen painter to do the same thing.
