Displaying Reports using Lines

Hi All,

I have created a Report in which the rows and columns are seperated by drawing a line.

In this report each cell is having more than 500 characters.

When the report is generated one cell content is broken down and moved into another cell.(Please see the image). Also the next cell content is appended to it.

Is this because of the large content, or is this due to some design issue?

Please help me with a solution!!

Hi Salman,

Is your field located on the details section? If yes insert another detail section under the original, then place your line on the new section and its position should be exactly on the top of the new section.  Make sure to re-size the new detail section to accommodate only the line.

You're always going to have trouble with separator lines.

Is this entire text falling in the same section? And have you drawn the line from the Preview tab?

You should consider breaking down the text into separate text objects and placing them in separate sections for best results.

Hi Salman,

Right click on that line and enable the "Move to bottom of section when printing"
