Hi Priyanka,

First you need to be sure you are looking at the correct Layout Set and then copying the correct Layout Set or Resource Renderer ready for modification.

Next you need to ensure you are pointing your KM Navigation iView to the newly duplicated and edited Layout Set which contains the newly duplicated and edited Resource Renderer (where you have made the modifications to remove any column which you do not want displayed).

Once you have pointed the KM Navigation iView to the Layout Set, you do not need any sort of restart. You just refresh the browser window and your changes take effect immediately.

This is all very fiddly stuff because there are so many components that can be changed to change the look and feel of the iView displayed.

Once you have made the connection between the iView and the Layout Set that you are modifying, I normally leave the KM Config window open with the Resource Renderer that I am editing displayed. Here after each change simply click "Apply".

At the same time have the KM iView open in another browser window. After clicking "Apply" after making the change you can refresh the browser containing the KM iView view and see the changes immediately. This is a good way of changing something and seeing the effect straight away. In this way you can experiment with the various settings and get it looking just how you want.

Good Luck,

Marc

Hi Priyanka,

It can be done quite easily.

Check the layoutset that is applied. You can set this at either at folder level (using folder>details>presentation-->select layout from the layout profiles) or define in the KM navigation iview that is pointing to your folder (in Layout set iview property).

You have to duplicate or advanced copy that layout set and customize it my removing commands from it (using system admin>system config>Content management>User Interface>settings>layoutset>select the layout set you want to use and click on advanced copy button).

After creating your copy of the layoutset. Click on it (from the same above said path) and click on resource renderer. Click on folder command group link and remove the commands you dont want.

Plse let me know if you dont understand and i can give you more inputs.

Consider awarding full points if it helps.
