Hi Experts,

I am a beginner in SAP Workflows. I have created a simple wokflow in which a mail is sent to a particular user. The workflow is triggered whenever a complaint (BUS20000120)is raised. Now I want to display values of certain container elements in the workflow.I have also created a container element based on BUS20000120. But every time I use some or the other container element attributes, in the mail it is displayed '<BONmae>.<Attributename> not found.

I am not getting any solution to this problem. Please help me.....

Hi Samrat,

Go to your workflow log and check the container for the mail item and compare to the workflow container. The most likely problem is going to be the binding between your mail task and the workflow container.

Hi Gareth,

I have checked in the workflow log and found that there is no value for the Container Element based on the business object.I think that on saving the record and firing the 'CREATED' event an instance of the Business Object should be created. But this is not happening.

I am using CRM 5.0 . So can you provide me any solution.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Samrat,

Check your START EVENT level BINDING in your Basic Data of Workflow.

Actually the instance is supposed to be created when triggered.

Make sure the EVT_OBJECT is mapped to your container element(of BOR type).

Hi Raja Sekhar,

The start event of my workflow is 'created' event of the Business Object (BUS20000120) .But where to implement the binding for the 'EVT_Object'?The start event for the workflow is firing as I have checked in the transaction 'SWEL' and also the mail is being sent to the desired user. The only problem is that I cannot display any data of my container element based on Business Object BUS20000120 . I can display elements of the system container like current date ,time etc. Please give me a solution.Infact this is happening to some other workflows as well.

Hi Raja Sekhar,

Thanks a lot , Your idea has solved my problem.

In the start event I have bound my Business Object to 'EVT_Object' .Also I have set the container element properties 'Import' and 'Mandatory' to be true.

I don't know whether this is necessary. Can you give some information in this regard?

Another thing can you suggest me any good resource on 'Program Exits'.

Thanking you again,

Samrat
