Difference between hdblcm and hdbupd.

What is difference between hdblcm and hdbupd in HANA system?

hdbupd is only used for upgrade of SAP HANA database but hdblcm could be used for both new install as well as for upgrade.

hdbupd is only used for upgrade of SAP HANA DB but hdblcm could be used for both new install as well as for upgrade.

When using hdblcm for upgrade you need to specify the action:

--action=update
