Hi,

While sending SAP Information from S/4HANA to Ariba CIG, we are getting the below error messages.

SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("Direct connect to testacig.ariba.com:443 failed: NIECONN_REFUSED(-10)")

In SM59 also, it is showing as connection refused.

Direct connect to testacig.ariba.com:443 failed: NIECONN_REFUSED(-10)"

Thanks

I hope you have checked Support note 194085 - SOAMANAGER Processing error in Internet Communication Framework(ICM) ,,,,,Assuming that you are using EU Data Center,

Cause

There can be two causes:

  1. The ICM HTTPS Port number might be incorrect.
  2. SSL Certificates might be missing in the SAP keystore for CIG.

Solution

  1. Please follow the below steps in SAP to check the HTTPS port in SAP:
    1. Go to transaction code "SMICM".
    2. In the menu click on Goto -> Services.
    3. Please verify if you see the HTTPS port in the next screen and confirm the port number it is running on.
  2. SSL Certificates provided in the CIG portal must be installed in the SAP system using the below steps:
    1. Go to transaction code "STRUST".
    2. In the next screen, expand the value SSL client SSL Client (Anonymo and double-click on your server's name.
    3. On the right hand side of the screen, you will see the list of certificates available in this keystore.
    4. To import a certificate to this keystore, click on Certificate -> Import in the top menu.
    5. Select the certificate from your file path in the next screen.
    6. Once the certificate is added to the keystore verify the contents in the right hand side and the save the entry.
