1. I am using "Do not Display" options to hide the compounding object in BW query,

but there are other problems, if the key is #, then the description also showing the compounding value like the picture shown below:

2. How to modify the description title?

Hello Jacky,

regarding 1) Have you tried to maintain a dummy text like "blank" for the 0001/# key?

regarding 2) you can use a VBA macro running, like I showed as no. 5) in my old Blog: https://blogs.sap.com/2015/09/09/best-practices-for-vba-in-sap-bi-analysis-for-ms-excel/

For 1, it seems work to maintain the master table in system,

could i possible to set the default text of null value key? Since the info object have compound object, it returning many combination of records, it is hard to maintain manually.

If all your regular compounded keys show a text in the text-table, you could download all others "= blank".

Then you can create a small file datasource and update the corresponding keys via this updated text file.

I think this is the fastest solution.
