Delta working in the standard extractors

Hi all,

I got an assignment to check and implement the same, that is how the delta is working in standard extractors and i have to implemtent my extractor with the same standard extractor. I am not a technical consultant, i taken the technical person help also for debugging, but he cannot able to find after the delta check, how that the extractor is picking the records for delta(we taken 2LIS_17_I3HDR)can any one help on this please.

Hi,

Its a bit difficult to nuderstand your problem. The LIS* datasources are based on v3 ques, so the delta is registred at the time of document creation/deletion/update. When BW job starts it transfers the data from v3 que to BW delta que. Making a similar funcionality is a rather large job so I don't think it is the right way to go. If You want to build a custom data source using standard funktionality You should go for "generic data source". Standard data sources such as CO* are based on this framework.
