Delta Upload

Hi,

This morning a Delta upload to one of my financial cubes failed.

I deleted the failed upload and tried to re-uploaded delta.

However it does not allow me to do this. The error message Im getting is:

"Last delta update is not yet completed

Therefore, no new delta update is possible.

You can start the request again

if the last delta request is red or green in the monitor (QM activity)"

BUT:

1.) The last delta update has been completed and it finished red.

2.) I deleted it and refreshed.

This happened a few hrs ago and Im still getting the above message.

Any suggestions on what to do ?

I have the same problem. I got the same error message and

advices-notes (739863, 691721) didnt help me. What was Your solution for this problem.

robertos sollution worked for me...although the monitor shows the status as red its actually not yet 100% red. If you click on it and manually change it to red from the monitor then it lets you re-run the request...

Hi Dominic,

if I'm arriving not so late, don't delete your init !!!

Try to force again your QM status in red, even if dataload is already in red, because often there could be some synchronization problem...then, you can execute a new (repeat) delta....

Hello,

Most of the experts recomend delta initilization in case of any delta fails.

however if the delta failed in BW then check the note OSS Note 739863 'Repairing data in BW'

if in R/3 then use OSS note 691721 "Restoring lost data from a delta request"
