Delta package doesn't update data in 0FITX_O03

Hi,

Data updates made in custom characteristics "Ref key (head) 1" [XREF1_HD] and "Tax report date" [VATDATE]  are not updated on BW side in 0FITX_O03.

Delta package works all right everyday.

The only way to update the data is to run full load.

Any help appreciated.

Regards, Leszek

Hi Leslaw,

Are these Header text  and tax report date captured in CDPOS and CDHDR tables? If yes, then   you have to build a generic extractor  for them and pull to BW and then  do a self loop on  that DSO:0FITX_O03. by reading from  generic extractor.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Rajesh.

Wow,

Very large list. Are they all the fields in that data source in business content ?

Yet I still don't know the method how to identify key fields in data sources.

Hi Leslaw,

DSO:0FITX_O03 can be used for the loading .

Key fields of the  dso are :

0COMP_CODE

0VAT_REPORG

0FISCPER

0AC_DOC_NO

0ITEM_NUM

0FISCVARNT

Rajesh

Sorry,

Key fields in dso are not the same as key fields in data source.

Hi,

At RSA2 or table ROOSFIELD, try to see the delta type for your data source and relevant field.

Along with relevant field, head(ref key) and dates(tax report) are changed then only delta will pull those changes.

if only date and head was changed without other values(delta relevant field) then delta will won't pull those changes.

In such cases better to run full load weekly once with special process chain.

if you DSO in your data flow then that would be fine.

Thanks

Thanks for fast response.

I checked RSA2 (on ECC side) but I don't see anything related to type of a source.

in ROOSFIELD i see

Where can I see that information ?

Hi,

RSA2 - you checked at wrong place.

You need to check delta relevant one at Extraction tab.

there will be Delta extraction part, please play with those icons.

Earlier mentioned table was wrong one.

Table - ROOSOURCE. and field - DELTA.

Thanks

in extraction I see

but nothing associated with those fields.

in roosource:

Look like your data source works on numeric pointer.

Along with date and header any other fields are changed?

Actually numeric pointer will pulls thru delta records which are newly created only.

You have two options.

1. Run Weekly full load

2. creating of generic data source.

So, if a field is not a key field and somebody changes value in that field that value will not be updated in BW ? Am I right ?

Yes, those kind of changes won't be captured thru delta.
