I have created a Delta enabled generic extractor which is based on a view.
1. The view is a join between a Z table and EQUI.
2. I have taken all the fields from the Z table and EQUI-AEDAT (Date of Last Change).
3. I have delta enabled the extractor using the Calendar day option choosing AEDAT
4. I have not set any safety interval limits
5. We have carried out an Init which was successful
6. We carried out Delta loads where no changes were made and got 0 records
7. We made some changes today and expected the Delta load to reflect these changes but we still got 0 records
Is a safety interval set automatically? If so how can I check and is it possible to change? Thanks
Hi,
the safety interval is not set automatically. You need to specify the upper and lower limit. So maybe you should go with a 1 day safety interval. Additionally, are you sure that your changes had an impact on equi-aedat? Please check also the contents of table equz for the equipment in question. You might have changed some attributes of the time dependant data of the equipment. You also need to know, that the creation of a new equipment will update erdat but not aedat.

Hi,
did you run you first delta with 0 records today also? If yes, this might be the reason and you will get your delta tomorrow. If it is not too much work you might change the interval to 1 day as a upper and a lower limit. Initialize again, possibly without data transfer and run your delta. You should get your records then.

Hi,
Execute RSO2 and press a button 'generic delta'.

hi
as far as i know you have to set the saftey interval while making the datasource delta enabled, i am not sure about whether you can do it now...i think you can do it.
