Dear Team,
We are upgrading our source system from S4HANA 2020 to S4HANA 2022 and would like to understand the impact of delta functionality in Datasphere.
Please let us know the steps to ensure that the delta functionality is continued after S4HANA Upgrade.
Regards
Hello,
This can be possible by using the option Pause Real time replication and this options are available in the Datasphere.
In case you using SDI based Replication you can follow the below help link
And also there is an option in the DPAgent to pause all the Replication and with these settings, the DPAgent will be on hold till you again proceed for the Replication, kindly check the below help document
In case you using the Replication Flow :
The Replication use the DI mechanism like DataFlow to replicate the data and for such situation you can very well use the options :
This is not Agent based and therefore, all you need to do the options mentioned in these help document.
Thanks & Best Regards
Nishant Kumar

Hello nishant.kumar
thanks for all this information, which product.support.sap should already have been providing!
Since it seems that you are an expert in this area... could you help me understand what would happen if you have a replication flow, and you find out only after a while that the Cloud Connector is not available (server down, certificate issue, network, whatever)... what will happen to the Delta data records in S4, which have been created in the meantime?
Thanks a lot, Martin
