Hi All,
We've one DSO that included in PC the overall status is green. And DSO is an Delta update which used to pick delta records daily. But we've noticed that the DSO is picking Zero records for the past one month. Is there any clue/suggestion that how we can retrieve or get back those missed delta records in to BI system.
My thing is we can go head with full update and initialize the delta pointer from next load onwards. But it seems it will take long time to get back those records. Nearly we've 2000000 records.
Kindly give valuable comments/suggestions
Thanks,
Siva
Hi Siva,
Do init without data transfer and run full repair with selections, which docs are missed out. If data load takes long time, split it further and load data. That will help in loading data in less time

Dear Sivaramakrishna,
Based on your quries, I have given my comments below
1) First check the job control for the past 1 month, wheher is it loaded daily without any harm. If it is sucessfull. leave it.
2) If you running process chain for that particular one month check any month excluded or not. If it is ok. leave.
3) You can solve this problem without deleting the old init. ie
a) Run init infopackage without any data transfer.
b) Do Repair full request only for particular month For example May month ( run the infopackage based on that particular one month ie 1st May 2012 to 31st May 2012 ).
c) Once may month records fetched from source system, check in R3 side ie RSA3 tcode, whther that May month record is coming or not. if it is coming load data into DSO.
d) Here main thing is that May month record infopackage should be full load(Repair full request) scheduled-> Repairfull Request-> Tick mark.
Using this simple way we can able to solve the problem. Please try it.

Baskaran.

Hi,
Do Repair full Request and check reason why records are not fetching.
Does delta requests are reaching up-to PSA or they are not coming up to PSA.
If Infopackage is fulling deltas, the check the DTP Extraction Mode.

Just check if the DSO records are activated to be sure...
Then I would suggest a Full DTP with Request ID selection from the date since when you get zero records.

Hi Siva,
Adding to all the above comments ----
Is it a BW3.x data flow or 7.X data flow?
how do you confirm that the delta is not loaded? Have you checked at IP level if any delta records got extracted or not from source?
BW3.x flow --> You can run the repair full load based on the date selection from where you feel the delta loads are missing.
BW7.x --> Run a full DTP with selections .

Hi Sivram,
Do selective full load based on Calday ..the day since zero data is coming and then initialize the delta again.

one way is to find out all changed and created records in last one month and do a selective full for those documents. This way, you can avoid doing full.
