Hi All ,
Scenerio:- A delta load turned red , when activated on 17th(their were few incorrect characters , which could hav been the corrected & saved at PSA level & updated) this is what we do normally.
17 being holiday , we missed on it , so delta loads for following days are also their. But it doesnt get activated
Now I dont see 17th PSA data , jst cn see PSA data for 21 & 22.(these 2 data packs also has invalid characters)
Following approach tried
A)I deleted the 17th red request & tried activating 21 & 22 request.it doesnt work
my question is wat if I delete all request for date 17,21,22 and do delta run frm same pack.In this case will it pick all changed
records since last data extractn on 16th.
please suugest.
Hi,
If the source is DSO then only its possible.
yes you should delete all the request by turning the overall status to red first and at same time make sure that the data mart status in the spurce DSO is deleted for the respective source request.
Then schedule the delta.
If the loads are happening from R/3 source then you cannot have data for the 17th by scheduling the delta again.
If was possible only through the data from PSA but as you said its also not avaialable.
In this case you have to do a full repair for the records missed on 17th If you are aware of records.
Thanks
Ajeet
