Delete Excel Spreadsheets through Windows instead of WEBI?

Hello,

Our BO server is quickly filling up by spreadsheets being saved to the server every day going back several years and we want to delete many of them and my question is can they be deleted safely using Windows instead of Webi?

We want to use Windows instead of WEBI because it looks like we can only delete 1 spreadsheet at a time using WEBI.

Yes these files are created as a result of the scheduler. I want to clear up space. Would deleting them through windows compromise the functionality in Webi in any way?

Hi,

I don't think that would impact the source of your WebI.

There will be an option to set Instance to delete after N number of days.

If you delete the excel sheets using windows, the references to the excel files in BO environment will not go away. I think you are referring the schedule output of the reports excel files to enterprise location.
