Delete data from InfoCube with request id

Hi

How do I delete data from the infocube that was loaded last night with request id?

I want delete data by request id not by other selection methods.

Here is the scenario.

Last night the data was loaded into infocube with request id #893838, daily batch load.

we realize that there is a bad data and we want to delete only that data, so that we can load again with good data.

I dont want to delete by date or time or other selection parameters, just want to delete data that was loaded with the request id.

Please help me.

Hi Ranga,

Have you compressed the data? If not then you can delete by request id by going to your infocube > right click > manage > contents tab > select the row with the request you want to delete and hit the delete button.

Yes the data has been compressed and agregates were rolled up too.

In this case you will have to do the selective delete based on other criteria...if the data has been compressed, you cannot get back the request ID.

Hi,

If you don't have much data in your cube and cannot identify data for selective deletion, then the best thing to do is delete contents and reload completely.

It worked fine with the selective deletion since request id's were compressed.
