Default Values in Build Work Zone

Hi everybody,
one of our customers wants to use Default Values in Build Work Zone, standard edition according to the documentation here. However the request for saving the default values in the settings dialog

https://sandbox.cfapps.eu20.hana.ondemand.com/sap/opu/odata/UI2/INTEROP/PersContainers

results in an 404 Not Found, which is obvious, because the request is not routed to the S4 backend. Does anyone have an idea how to route this request, that is outside any of our apps, correctly? An idea that came in our mind is a Launchpad plugin, but we think there must be an easier solution. 

Does anyone have experience with Default Values in Build Work Zone and already solved this issue?
