Hello everyone,
After i changed the KM settings, now the icons (standard-folder.gif ...) of the KM Content no longer show up. Can somebody provide me the default settings of the etc repository?
Best regards, Jannis
Hi Jannis,
there you go:
(Name: etc)
Prefix (must start with /): /etc
Root Directory: <%servletpath%>/etc
Windows Landscape System:
Active: YES
Hide in Root Folder: NO (not checked)
Read-only: NO (not checked)
Send Events: YES
Lookup mode: caseless
Property Search Manager:
Read-only Content Expiry Delay: 600 (seconds)
Repository Services: Not set
ACL Manager Cache: ca_rsrc_acl
Security Manager: AclSecurityManager
If after fixing the parameters you still experience problems, check this link for more tips:
Hope this helps,
Robert

Hello Robert,
Can you give me more information about the
Root Directory: <%servletpath%>/etc
I used http://computername.domain.com:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/etc
Whe i go to the monitor i see under components monitor:
etc startup failed
Best regards,
Jannis
Hi Jannis,
In Root Directory you should give the actual file-system path to the folder etc.
The simplest way is to search for folder "etc" under "usr" in the portal server.
Use the 'sapmnt' share, and continue the folder path from there.
If you read on before trying the simplest way (and if you got here you probably did ), you can try this:
<i>
<Server Name>\sapmnt\<SID>\SYS\global\config\cm\etc</i>
But I can't guarantee it's accurate since I'm not in front of the portal right now.
Hope that helps,
Yoav.
