Hi,

i'm having problem's with a standard java component.

Is it possible to perform debugging in component?

I would need the source code, that i don't have.

And in the SAP R/3 i'm not being able to track the functions that are used.

Thanks for the help.

There is an eclipse plugin called japclise which can decompile classes on the fly whilst debugging. The only problem with this is that when the class is decompiled it doesn't contain comments, therefore when stepping through the code the line displayed in the eclipse debugger will not correspond to the line being executed, but it may help

I hope this helps

Darrell

Hi Paulo, hi Darrel,

with "Japclipse" you probably think of "Jadclipse" - http://sourceforge.net/projects/jadclipse ?! This is based on JAD - http://kpdus.tripod.com/jad.html - and this again can be called with an option to write the original line numbers as comments before the line.

Paulo: Documentation about portal debugging can be found here, for example:

Hope it helps
