Debug vs Normal Run

Hi Guys,

Strange though but true.. I am facing an issue with BODI wherein the job is populating data fine in the Debug mode but not in the normal job run. Not sure what other details I should give because I am as of now amazed.

Hello

Running in debug mode alters the way Data Services/Data Integrator processes data at runtime.  For example where the optimizer would generate pushdown operations, this is turned off in debug mode (to allow collection of sample data, stepping, etc.).

While the processing should be functionally identical, in older versions of DS/DI anomolies sometimes occured. 

Which version are you using?

Hi Michael,

I am using DS 12.2.3.5 and yes we have DataTransfer transforms in the job to enable pushdown.

It's not just Data Transfers that enable pushdown, the optimizer will do it where ever it can.  Small, well designed and built dataflows promote pushdown.

For the forum members to help you more, you are going to have to post details of your job, errors, etc. 

It might be that your job is consuming more resources in normal mode.

That is what the problem is its not giving out any errors except the below which used to be there even before the issue appeared:

Thease are the datatransfer files we are using for pushdown in the dataflow causing the errors.
