Hi,

I need to move my replication environmente to a new machine. I want to generate DDL of all the replication system.

I used Sybase Central to get all the replication definitions, subscriptions, etc.

Do you know how can I do it in latest versión?

Regards,

Luz Rodríguez

Cool Mark,, I like the idea of using old SC with new RS.

This can help Luz one last time to port metadata from old RS to new RS.

Sooner or later she has to bell the cat

i.e. start crafting scripts/procs or shell out $$$ for PowerDesigner !

As we all know SC and its replacement SCC both are going away !

I have not heard/read about RS Cockpit and what it will be able to do.

PowerDesigner comes with an SRS extension to the DMM that directly reverses the RCL from the RSSD/eRSSD.

I have extended it for SRS 15.7.1 to better support replication to HANA, however you should be able to use the default SRS 15.7 provided with the latest PD version without 'rolling your own'.

Not many choices in absence of Sybase Central !

You will need

- your own homegrown scripts/stored procedures or

- SAP tool PowerDesigner with RS component
