Hi Experts,

Daily DTP full load is failing with the shortdump DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR in Process chain. When i repeats the DTP after some time load successful. When it is failing there are some other jobs are running like BI_PROCESS_DBSTAT & BI_PROCESS_ODSACTIVE. Is it failing because of this?

How to sort this problem?

Thanks,

regards,

<BMP>

Hi,

jobs BI_PROCESS_DBSTAT,BI_PROCESS_ODSACTIVTE tiggers in the background to active a DSO request.

usually DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR. error happens due to many reasons table spaces, data base time outs.

Please analyse the dump in ST22 and you will find the reason for this.

Refer to the below message for more info on BI_PROCESS_DBSTAT job.

Suresh

Hi BMP,

It is possible that when many processes are running in parallel, then the tablespace might exceed which leads to memory issues because of which the load fails. You can ask basis people to increase the space.

Hope it helps!

Please see ABAP dump associated with this failed load.

Based on this I would judge next steps.

In general DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR error is related to DB access from SAP BW to BW.

Hi ,

You can check these OSS notes :

1421011 - DB6: Speed up selection from DSO activation queue (DB2 V9.1).

1392715 - DSO req. activation:collective perf. problem note.

1158574 - 70SP18: DTPs no longer run in parallel after importing SP 16

- Try to decrease the packet size in the transaction RSODSO_SETTINGS to 10.000 and increase the wait time,

and then check your issue .

Hi ,

You delete the DTP and recreate it and add in your process chain. The error might be due to corrupted DTP.
