Data Universe connection time out configuration

I'm looking for some input and general recommendations regarding Data Universe connections.

1. does the value of the Pool timeout have any impact on or relationship with the other web intelligence and load balancer timeouts? Should it be longer, shorter, same or is unrelated? Ours is the default 10 mins but the webi timeouts are longer (20 minutes).

2. same for questions as above regarding 'Login Timeout'.
