Hi All,
We did a load on monday from ODS to cube1.
Data is compressed and aggregated. then we moved cube1 to cube2.
Today we found Monday loaded data is incorrect from ODS to cube1.
What is best solution? Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Sri.
Hi
Request Reverse Posting is the best option to solve this problem.
Thanks

From the ODS to the cube, is it a delta or full.
If it is full, delete the data and reload.
Also, dont compression should be done only when the data quality is ensured. Data quality is ensured when the users use the data for a while ( say for a month) and then compress.

Hi,
I always wait at least 1 month (depending on the volume of data) before compression as once you have compressed the cube it is very hard to reverse the affects.
You have a couple of options,
1. Do a selective deletion of the contents of the Cube, and reload accordingly.
2. Reload the data if it is a full load (it's probably the easiest way of ensuring your data is correct).

Hi,
I think the best possible solution is to do the request reverse posting for the load to Cube1. and then run the delta to cube2. This will make your KF's values zero. and then run a new load from ODS1 to cube or you need to reinitialize the cube 1 and cube 2 and load fresh data from ODS or if you know the data you can do slective deletion from CUBE 1 and CUBE 2 and then reload teh data again from ODS
