Data packet sizing

Hi All

While loading data to BW and want to size the data packets, do we need to do it on the both sides that is R/3 and BW or else is it enough if we do it in R/3 alone.

Dear Sreedhar,

Its enough to Maintain in R/3 Side and by default the BW takes it . But if you do the settings in R/3 it is available across all the datasources that send data to BW. But if the same are done for BW at Infopackage level , it is only for that particular Source .
