CurrentCEUserID and Commands

Is there any way to get the information from CurrentCEUserID into a command to filter data?

Just using it in the Select Expert means that ALL of the data gets pulled into Crystal which then filters it in memory, causing the report to be slow.  The only other way I can think of would be to create a formula in the main report and pass it as a parameter to a query in a subreport.  I'd like to try to do this without subreports, though.

Hi Dell,

You're right, using a Subreport is one way of doing this.

Did you try the Business View Manager approach? I haven't tested this myself, however creating a filter in the Data Foundation/Business Element and reporting against the Business View might work.
