Crystal Reports, Universe Prompts, caching somewhere?

Strange problem. Using Crystal Reports 2013 with SAP BI 4.1 (Crystal Server 2013). Report based upon a Universe (unv) query.

I've a filter that's used as a prompt in the report. There's security that limits the values that each user can see.

If I view the report on demand, the prompt correctly populates with a subset of the values.

If I schedule the reports, the prompt displays all the values. Security is still respected when the report runs, just a pain to show everything to the user.

Anyone know if this is a bug or am I missing something that's being cached somewhere?

Looks like this is the 'correct' functionality.

When scheduling a report, the prompt isn't refreshed, so you see whatever the user who published the report was able to see. The prompt is only refreshed when viewing on demand.

The workaround is to use a BV for the dynamic parameter. Hopeless if you want to limit the amount of data being retrieved.

I'm talking to SAP support to see if we can get a better result.
