I'm using Crystal Reports 9.2.2.634. I need a formula that would count the number of members whose payment total is greater that zero. In this sample data set I want it to return a count total of 3 and an amount total of $1,500.00

Date ID Name Item Amount

3/1/11 1234 Smith Annual Fee $500.00

5/1/11 6489 Jones Annual Fee $500.00

1/1/11 7846 Brown Annual Fee Installment 1 of 5 $100.00

2/1/11 7846 Brown Annual Fee Installment 2 of 5 $100.00

3/1/11 7846 Brown Annual Fee Installment 3 of 5 $100.00

4/1/11 7846 Brown Annual Fee Installment 4 of 5 $100.00

5/1/11 7846 Brown Annual Fee Installment 5 of 5 $100.00

6/1/11 5847 White Annual Fee $500.00

6/3/11 5847 White Returned Check $(500.00)

Total Count 3 Total Amount $1,500.00

Thank you

Hi

--Create a group on names

--Right click on amount and insert summary on your group and also on your report footer.

--Now write the following2 formulas to get count :

Whileprinting records; //place this formula on your group footer

numbervar cnt;

if sum(amount, group)> 0 then

cnt:=cnt+1;

Whileprinting records; //place this formula on your report footer

numbervar cnt;

This will give you total count of your groups which are > 0

Thanks,

Sastry
