Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010: Beta to Production

Apologies if this has been answered in the past, if it has I can't find the solution anywhere. Also I'm quite a big CR novice I'm afraid!

We recently upgraded our Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 from a beta version, to the production version that was released in November 2010 and are using an ASP.NET 4.0 web application to display the reports.

Since making the switch, when we run a report, the viewer doesn't render on the page and the report isn't displayed. The code hasn't changed, the query is returning results and the .rpt is being created in the Windows temp folder and the datasource is set and DataBind called with no exceptions thrown...

... so I'm a bit of a loss as to why it's suddenly not rendering the report. 😕

The old pre-upgraded version still works like a charm, and displays the reports just fine. But (locally, at least) with the new version of Crystal Reports, nothing is coming up on the page.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to even begin focusing, or have also experienced this? I'm at a loss.

Beta is no longer supported at all. Search on how to un-install the beta, clean your CP up of the beta references and then install the RTM version.

Thank you
