Crystal Reports BW LOV

We have created a new Crystal Report connecting to BEx (using the SAP toolbar)

The BEx query contains a variable with a list of values...

We created the report in Dev, and are saving to BW and BOE.

When we repoint the report to the UAT system and save to UAT BOE the LOV shows the DEV values.

I understand that we need to transport the report from DEV to UAT, though this is failing because the report is marked as inactive in BW.

How do we mark the report as Active?

We cannot save direct to BW from the UAT or Prod system because from what I have researched the changeability needs to be open and this will not be allowed.

Any help would be appreciated, we have search everywhere, including OSS and not found why the report is inactive.

Thanks

Hi Raymond,

can you check either your BEx query has a settings called "allow external access to query" set? You can set this as a check box on query properties in BEx Query Designer.

If it is not set in UAT but is set in DEV then you need to transport your BEx query which feeds your Crystal Reports from DEV to UAT first.

Cheers, martin

Thanks Martin,

I have checked this setting, and it was already enabled.

Hi Raymond,

Moved your post to the BI Platforms forum.

There should be a wizard that will allow you to copy from one BI/BOE server to another.
