Hello,

CR 7 is more than 10 years old. Not sure what the problem is but only versions supported on that OS is CR 9 and above.

You'll have to debug using ProcessMonitor from Microsoft or Charles or Fiddler to see what is failing, what errors your are getting and what Access Denied errors too.

No info to go on so could be lots of things, what engine are you using for starters?

Thank you

Thanks William

you have talked that CR ver 9.0 that it will works on Win 2003 server, i have checked that too but every ver of

CR gives the error "an error has occurred on the server in accessing the data source" when we click to open a report

i think the problem is with the data source because we have mentioned data source in asp file which access the crystal report

any type of help will be welcomed

thank you

Not enough info. Use some debugging tools like Fiddler and ProcessMonitor to figure out what permission need to be set and access granted.

Searching here and our Knowledge Base system will provide info on how to configure WEB servers to work with CR.

Typically it's a permission problem to the \temp folder and to the CR Viewer folder.

Thank you

Don
