CRM UI: restrict Installed Base component search

Hello!

We would like to allow key users to create messages via CRM UI (tcode SM_CRM, business role: SOLMANREQU).

We use SOLMAN 7.1 SP5.

When the key user tries to create a message via CRM UI, he/she can search for all Installed Base components.

Question

How can we restrict certain key users to search only for their own Installed Base components?

Hello Alex,

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMAUTH/UC00034 in this document SAP inform that in CRMUI tcode this authorization object isn`t checked. I already checked this 'feature' at Solman 7.1 SP6 and didn`t work.

How the hell restrict this list using CRMUI tcode ?

Hi Alex,

Inform to the key users assign the particular project in CR creation.

Once he assign the project and save it.

They able to find only single ibase. In solman 7.1 selected project PRD ibase only shown.

Hi Alex

Maybe it would be possible if you put restricted Ibase into another Ibase category (for example 02) and then restrict by CRM_IBASE authorization object (CRM_IBASE->IB_IBTYP)

But SAP recomends if you keep all sap systems in one category.

Auth. obj. B_NOTIF_IB would resctrict to open messages (not Ibase) where restricted Ibase is in
