CRM Server is not started

Hi,

I had installed CRM 4.0 and after that installed R/3 (ECC 5.) on the same machine and assigned SIDs were CRP (Crm Sever) and ERP (R/3 ECC5.0)

After successfully installation of both CRM and ERP only ERP gets started not CRM. Also there is only one entry for ERP in Windows MMC Console.

If any one face the same situation give the solution.

For the Windows MMc you can add another entry.

Please explain the whole problem

Do you have two different database of one database for both the system.

If you have two differnt database have you adjusted the tns listner file.

Check that you strt the listner for both the systen and then start the sap if you have two different database.

There are two database, now explain how to adjust the listner entry and how to add second entry in MMC.

For details both ERP and CRM services are running. There are two folders created under \usr\sap\CRP and \usr\sap\ERP.

Hi ,

Open MMC ,RightClick on SAP System in MMC then select property .

when the properties open click on Fixed tab and now add the SId anf the ip addredd in th tab and click on Add.then click on Ok and the system will be added.

Now for the listner open services.Stop theListner service for the server that is running and then start the listner service of the other server.also start the other services for that other system.Please dont stop any othet service.

now try to start the other system from mmc.

If this works i shall tell you to adjust the tns listner file.

Checked the Listner and TNS Names setting, all are as per the suggested SAP Note 98252.

Still not able to run the CRM server.

How to start the other instance , if you have the document for installing two SID on one windows server.
