Hi, I'm new to BW so please forgive the silly question. In process chains I have created a start process which launches an infopackage for data loads which then launches another infopackage for texts loads. Everything is good. However now I created a new attribute change process which includes multiple infoobjects. I cannot for the life of me 'create' a link between this new process and the existing ones. My problem is simple, how do I create a link from one process to another where no link previously existed? I've reviewed past questions but unless there is an existing link that I can drag to the new object it seems to be impossible. Some of the SAP BW pdf docs that I read made mention of "drawing lines" to connect the processes but no other detail was given. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
Each process is represented by a rectangle, which is divided into 2 horizontally...to connect 2 processes, you need to start dragging from the lower half of the first process rectangle, and then 'drop' the line onto the process that you want to connect too.
Hope this helps...
