Creating JCO Destinations Error

HI All,

Im getting this error when I test my JCO destinations after creating it :

com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (102) RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Connect to message server host failed Connect_PM TYPE=B MSHOST=gsdcb081 GROUP=SPACE R3NAME=BS7 MSSERV=sapmsBS7 PCS=1 ERROR service 'sapmsBS7' unknown TIME Tue Nov 20 08:17:42 2007 RELEASE 700 COMPONENT NI (network interface) VERSION 38 RC -3 MODULE nixxhsl.cpp LINE 776 DETAIL NiHsLGetServNo: service name cached as unknown COUNTER 1

I have created only MODELDATA destination till now.

Any clues ?

Add this line in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\services

sapmsBS7 3610/tcp (3610 is ur message server port , check this in RZ70)

We are on a Unix System, which file (and location) needs to be changed for this entry. Plz Advice.

in a *nix system, this is the /etc/services file.
