Hi all,
What does a 'prefix' mean while creating a WebDAV repository manager? Does the prefix mean the name of a folder present at the root in KM Content? Is it to be registered somewhere?
thanks and regards,
pramod.
Thanx Dimitry for ur reply,
could you elaborate on the following also:
1.When the prefix is /webdav, is 'webdav' existing folder under the root dir?
2.How to create folder under root dir?
3.Do i need to create a repository i.e.'webdav'.
4.Do i need to have this repository entry in the repository services?
Need ur help.
Thanx in advance.
Regards,
Pramod.

/webdav will be created by the portal when you restart the machine, so just create a new webdav repository manager and give /webdav (just as an example) in the prefix. this will lead to the new
/webdav folder under the root (/) after your server restarts & KM goes up.

hi pramod,
prefix means the mounting point in the km, the idea is very simular to unix: i.e.
you have root - /
and you mount repositories to it:
/|
|->/documents
|->/windows_share
|->/unix_share
|->/webdav
, etc.

dimitry
