Creating a Message interface without using a WSDL.

Hi all,

I am working on a HTTP -> XI -> SOAP synchronous scenario. I dont have a WSDL of the Webservice I intend to use.

Generally, we import WSDL and create an External definition of the same and use in the message interface.

How do i create the inbound message interface without using WSDL?

I want my SOAP message to contain SOAP header and SOAP body.

Kindly provide links of blogs (if possible) for easy understanding

Many Thanks,

Neha

Hi Neha,

No Problem even though you dont have the wsdl file .

Just create the DT and MT and MI for that Webservice as usual only and but this structure should be Webservice acceptable one.

For this structure creation, ask the webservice team

You could design the objects as like the other scenario However you need to know the WSDL to determine the request data structure that the Webservice can support.

Just create data types, message types and interfaces as u do in any other scenario. It will work. Wsdl just ease the purpose. However, u will have to make sure that the structure u created in datatype is acceptable to the receiver webservice.
