Hi there,

I'm currently creating a container element in workflow and using it in the step mail

1. I created a workflow definition on SWDD

2 I then created a container element for a Carrier ID

3. entered details pertaining to carrier Id

4 Confirmed

5. had to create a mail step in the workflow

did all of the above well but in the end I have to save and activate, tried, but my save button is greyed out, can't click on it, how do I save and activate?

Kind Regards

Portia Mkhize

Hi,

Try Transaction PFTC, PFTC_CHG to make changes in the worklow, save and activate.

Thanks and regards,

Hi Portia,

If you are at a particular step and not on the initial screen of the workflow then the SAVE and ACTIVATE button will be grayed out. You can make the required changes in workflow and come to initial screen then save and activate it.

Hello,

Perhaps it was already saved? What happens when you exit out, does it ask you to save then?

Hi Portia,

Where the save button is grayed? In transaction SWDD?

May be the object is locked by some other user.

Try to unlock the object using Transaction SM12 and then try it again.

Thanks,

Viji.
