Saving a report to a PDF format changes the font (times new roman) size from 12 to 10.5. Is this a bug? Is there a fix?
Request clarification before answering.
Find the search box at the top right of this web page. Enter forcelargerfonts.
You will get a number of KBases on how to resolve the issue. Note that none of the KBases will be specific to CRVS2010, but the pattern should help you in determining the modifications you need to implement.

OK i saw articles that references registry entries that I didn't have so i created them and it fixed my issue. Basicaly I had to create a Pdf key and set the DWORD forcelargerfonts = 1.
Just curious,I saw one post that mentioned that in the export, the text was intentionaly being set to a smaller font sizes to avoid it being truncated. Why isn't this a setting within crystal to let the user chose to export to true font size or let it resize it automatically?
Making the setting per-report would be problematic administration-wise, but having it as a registry setting makes it application-deployment-wise.
Another reason is that ForceLargerFonts have to be used with care, since you may get into issues where text becomes hidden or overlaps.
If you feel otherwise, one thing you can do is post it to https://ideas.sap.com - with enough votes, it'll get attention of the Product Managers.
