Could not create user in user administration

Hi all,

I am new to portal. I have done sld connection successfully. When I was trying to create new user in user Administration (after giving complete information about the

user) it is saying that could not create user. Can any body help how to create new user for portal and also how to start portal application initially.

Login as Administrator.Go to Roles->Search Users->Assign following roles: eu_user

Adminsitrator

User_Admin_role

GUIMRole

super_admin_role

Save and try creating user now.

Hi Vikas,

If you are not able to create user after logging into portal ,you can create user by logging into http://server:port/index.html>User Administration.loggin and create user.You can also search in sdn itself for your queries.....

Hi ,

Have you done these before posting the questions.

1. Read abt EP basics in help.sap.

2. search help.sap

3. Search sdn.sap ..(In Wiki , blogs,forums,articles..)

This is definitely not an SAP support portal.. 25 questions in 1 hr ? Most of the posted questions can be solved by going through basics in help.sap .. or searching forum.

Please post questions after doin some background work on the same .

The idea is not to offend anyone .. but to help you understand how the system work.
