Why do you want to convert XML to Excel? SAP BW can import XML files even if it is not recommended for mass data.

if you use XML for MS office you will be able to do that. The BW web download to excel is done using this.

You need to write XSLT code to convert the XML file to Excel file.

Isn't XSLT for Transformation in XML files regarding data formats and stuff ? and also XSLT is a part of BW3.5 right?
