Hi,

I have two dimension and one measure objects used in Graph and One of the dimension is Date which is hidden and used for Sorting purpose.

While mouse hover in graph, all three values are displaying.

Customer would not like to display Date in Mouse Hover? can we control it?

Thanks in Advace,

Dharmaprakash.

Hi Dharmaprakash ,

You can do little trick by adding space to calday object

=[Calday]+""

Hi Dharmaprakash ,

if you concatenate "" (space) to the dimension , then you will not get that object while mouse over

right click and hide your dimension

turn it to chart

you can only see :

Hi Sathish,

Thanks for reply and your time.

When I add space to date object, it is changing from Date data type to Text and sorting is not working in the graph. Also i am getting mouse hover value.

Thanks,

Dharmaprakash.

Hi Dharmaprakash ,

If you are adding Date only for sorting then , try below

Variable1 = rank([calday])+""

add it in table and  sort according , make Variable1 HIDE , convert it to chart.

Hope you'll get it

Thanks Satish, It is working fine. I Created variable like Date_1 = Rank(Date) and used Date_1 in graph with ascending sort.

Thanks again,

Dharmaprakash.

I don't think this can be controlled at the WebI end..

But one option you can try is to create a dimension variable and use the date Object in that. Then instead of using the date Object in the chart directly, use the Dimension variable. It would hide the Date value but will still show the Variable name.

I do not think webi has any feature to control mouse-over values in charts.
