Connection issue while connecting to sybase from powerbuilder 8 on windows 7

I get the following error when i try to connect to the database from powerbuilder 8 on windows 7:

DBMS SYC Adaptive Server Enterprise is not supported in your current installation

Can anyone please help me out on this?

This forum is for questions about SQL Anywhere, not Adaptive Server Enterprise.

SQL Anywhere uses SQLCA.DBMS = "ODB", whereas Adaptive Server Enterprise uses "SYC". The error message probably means your copy of PowerBuilder cannot be used with Adaptive Server Enterprise because you don't have a copy of PBSYC080.DLL.
