Connecting XI system to R3 System with HTTP RFC.

Hi All,

I am trying to connect XI system with R3 system thru RFC of

Type HTTP.

XI 3.0 is on WAS 640

R3 is on WAS 620.

Hostname of UPC system is issapupg1

RFC Settings are:-

target host :- issapupg1 service no 8000

path prefix =/sap/xi/engine?type=receiver

when i m trying to test the RFC,It Is coming out with prompt of userid

and password also...It is not taking

Userid and password of R3 (UPC system).

Also when i m trying to access http://issapupg1:8000/

same password prompt is popping out..

The Error After Unsuccessful logon is:-

check whether the user has the following role

SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER

Thanks for attending to my query.

the user with i am trying to login has got SAP_ALL..

As well as i am assigned SAP_XI_APPL_SERV* profiles

seperately.

..

Any Settings to be done ay at ICM/Auth/* side.?

Note that my r3 is running on WAS 620 with ABAP Only.

Please Suggest
