Solved: Connecting LDAP from ECC

Hi Experts,

I have one question, I need your help regarding this.

I have configured SSO from EP through LDAP.

If my client is using only ECC6.0 EHP4 not EP, how to maintain SSO.

Can I do SSO with LDAP in ECC(in absence of portal) ?

Is it possible that LDAP's user will connect to SAP ABAP ECC6.0 / BI / SRM7.0 using LDAP server?

I am not sure what exactly is your question. Please provide some more details regarding your questions.

Are you asking whether we can use LDAP user id to login to SAP ABAP systems?

- ABAP systems maintain their own user repository. You can always synch your LDAP and ABAP system.

Do you have CUA setup ? Do you have any Identity Management (like SAP IDM) application/server setup ?

Are you asking if we can configure SSO to an ABAP system without a portal system?

- Yes you can achieve SSO to an ABAP system in absence of portal.

Are there any web based applications (WD4A, BSP, ... ) that you want to launch directly without involving portal ?
