configure the "parallel Processing"

hi,

i get this info for a chart object, if i make left click on the chart => Applied to chart ... "Warnings & Errors" ... show performance analysis.

where to set the flag for the "parallel processing"?

This is a backend query message. Check under System, Administration and verify that the Number of parallel sessions for BW data sources is correctly set:

the configuration for "parallel processing" is on query base => ?

My answer was from the SAC side of the configuration. The screen capture I provided is from the SAC tenant "System", "Administration" tab.

There can be settings on the BW or HANA side as well, I would not have any experience regarding that part.

We are running BW 7.5 on HANA (version 2). And the parallel setting in SAC is 12. We also get "Parallel Processing is not active"

So why do we get the flag in SAC?

Also in the query settings on the story it looks as if the BW part is missing.

It is there for the classical view.

Maybe the question is how I test that the Optimized Story Experience is actually working on my installation.
